Mortal Kombat 2 | Release date cast and more


The 2021 year has been a wonderful year for Warner bros in term of both popularity and money. The company released this year some of the most anticipated movies. Like Jack Snyder’s Justice League, Kong vs Godzilla and the new Mortal Kombat.

The new Mortal Kombat is a sequel to the classic 1997 released Mortal Kombat Annihilation. Which at that time was not very popular due to its VFX and a loose story. But this Mortal Kombat has everything that the first one misses. A realistic VFX and a story that was good enough to hook up the audience with the film.

And due to its success now it is possible that the 2021 Mortal Kombat. Will create a whole new universe for the Mortal Kombat franchise. Because we all know the film has not ended completely and the franchise of the film gives some hints about expanding the universe of Mortal Kombat.

So the film may return for another part with some new characters. And we all know Mortal Kombat don’t have any shortages of character.

Many old characters are still in the film. That’s why we may see part one heroes returns for one more fight. Like Lewis tan as Cole Young, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Tadanobu Asano as Raiden, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion. And at last, the new character that the franchise wants to introduce Jhonny Cage. And in the 2021 film, we saw Cage reference many time throughout the film. So it is sure that if another part of the film will come the Jhonny Cage character was in it.

Release date of Mortal Kobat 2 –

There is not any confirmation about the film at that time. Not by the director or not by the Warner bros. But if the film comes for the next part then it is most likely that it will get released within the next two years.
