On 14 October 2020 Apple held its second launch event. It’s a second time this year and that’s why peoples have a lot of expectations from this event. And it is also a special occasion too because from the last few months we all are seeing leaks of the new iPhone 12. And now finally the new iPhone is here.
This time Apple launches its 4 new iPhones and called it Apple iPhone 12 series. And seriously all 4 Iphones are design-wise same, the Apple iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The list of new iPhone series is big and so its price in India. But first, talk about the specifications of all these 4 devices. And what new this time you are going to see as compared to their predecessors.
Specification of New iPhone 12 Series-
In the specification section, we are going to talk about the display and design of the phone. Battery and Processor. And at last Internal storage of the device and camera as compared to iPhone 11.
Common things between All 4 devices of iPhone 12 Series-
There are a lot of commonalities you are going to see in all 4 iPhone 12 devices. Either you purchase an iPhone 12 Mini or iPhone 12, Pro Max. The first thing that looks common in these new devices is their new square design. That is not new because we saw iPhone old devices with this square design. But this time it comes up with a new touch and a big screen.
The second similarities between all 4 devices are their 5G connectivity. No matter if you buy their smallest iPhone mini or Biggi iPhone 12 Pro Max. All of them support the 5G connectivity in them. Whereas there is no 5G connectivity are available at that time for everyone. But it is cool to have a device that supports 5G networks.
And the third similarity is their display. Not in size but the type of display that is used in all models is the same this time.
Display and Design-
If we talk about the design of the new iPhone 12 series then they all look almost the same. All 4 iPhones come up with a new square design. And in term of display, all 4 of devices has different sizes but this time Apple uses there new display type that is Super Retina XDR or in other words, all 4 of them come up with an OLD screen. And the new thing that Apple adds this time a Ceramic Shield in the front panel that provides you a 4X times better drop performance.

Camera in iPhone 12 Series-
The two new models iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 come up with a dual-camera setup like iPhone 11. The primary camera comes with 12MP (F/1.6) and the secondary camera comes up with 12MP (f/2.4) that is an ultra-wide-angle lens. It also supports Optical Image Stabilization(OIS) and a 4K recording at 60FPS. And a 5X Digital zoom option.
While the other two model iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max come up with triple camera setup. Let’s first talk about iPhone 12 Pro, the first camera in this iPhone is a 12MP(f/2.0) Telephoto camera with a 4X optical zoom lens. The second camera is a 12MP(F/1.6) wide-angle camera with OIS. The third camera 12MP(f/2.4) ultra-wide camera with 120 Degree field view.
While the iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with one more upgrade and that is 12MP(f/2.2) Telephoto camera with 5X optical zoom. Both Pro versions also come up with a LiDAR sensor that is used in augmented reality applications. And also help in autofocus and low lighting photos too.
New MagSafe Wireless Charger for iPhone 12 Series-
In the new iPhone series all the 4 devices come up with a magnetic disc in their back. And this magnetic disc help to snap the magnetic accessories in the back of the iPhone. And that why apple takes a step further and launches its new 15 Watt wireless charger that directly snaps on the back of the iPhone 12 series and charges the device.
The one big change that is happening in the new iPhone series is that from now on. There will be no adopter in the box you got only USB C to Lightning cable in the box of the new iPhone series.
Apple New Processor-
The one more commonality in all 4 devices of the iPhone 12 Series is their Bionic A14 chipset. That is previously used in the new iPad Air. But it is the first time that the chip is used in a smartphone device. The new Bionic A14 Processor is based on a 5nm which makes it the world-first chip that is based on a 5nm process node.
The two new iPhone 12 versions come up with 64GB of storage. But you can also buy a higher variant. And the Pro versions come up with the 128GB storage and it can be upgraded up to 512GB.
Price of Apple iPhone 12 Series in India-
The price of new Apple devices is a little bit higher in India as compared to the USA. And all the 4 Devices come up in a different price section in both the USA and India.
